Who we are.

Cross of Grace Church exists to make and mature disciples of Jesus by declaring and delighting in the gospel of his grace.

Make & Mature

As a church, our goal is to both make and mature disciples of Jesus. We labor to bring new people to saving faith in Christ, and we aim to help to mature existing disciples’ relationship with their Savior.

Declaring & Delighting

Disciples are made and matured by both declaring and delighting in the Gospel of Jesus Christ—the message of Christ crucified and resurrected for the salvation of sinners. Because the gospel isn’t only something to be believed, but something to be delighted in personally and declared to those around us.

Our Team

Our goal as a leadership team is to submit ourselves to the authority of scripture and use our God-given gifts for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Teaching

We teach the Bible verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter, focusing on the work of Christ and applying the Scriptures to everyday living.

Our Church Culture

Though every true church shares the essentials of the Christian faith in common, each local church has distinct characteristics—a culture. By God's grace, this is who we are and intend to be in the future. We describe our culture with three words: Gospel-Centered, Joyful, and Hospitable.

Gospel-Centered

The gospel is the central message of the Bible, and therefore it is the central message of our church. From beginning to end, the Bible points us to the amazing reality that God has been merciful to sinners by sending Jesus to live, die, and rise in their place. We want to display God’s glory by celebrating, proclaiming, and living the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Joyful

God has made us glad. The good news that He has redeemed us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is our source of everlasting joy. Joy fuels our life in Christ. More than something we only believe, the gospel is something that we rejoice in both individually and corporately.

Hospitable

Through Christ’s work, God has welcomed us into his family. The gospel, therefore, shapes us into hospitable people. Whether in our Sunday gathering, in our homes, or in conversation, we aim to “welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God” (Romans 15:7).
